How to advertise your property
Introduction
Studentpad and the University of Birmingham offer the most cost effective and simplest method to let your property/ies quickly and easily. Instead of incurring high costs advertising your property through traditional methods and wasting time and money advertising in places where students don't look, let studentpad.co.uk facilitate the process.
Studentpad works very closely with the University of Birmingham and as such you need to join the University of Birmingham Scheme (see below for details) to be able to advertise on the web site. The University of Birmingham solely use the studentpad software to advertise your properties. In turn, all of the students are referred to www.birminghamstudentpad.co.uk and it is therefore very successful for registered landlords.
Photographs
Although not compulsory, photographs do make a huge difference to your advert. This is what one of our customers commented; "many people remarked on the photographs, saying how helpful it was to be able to see photos .. Perhaps you could encourage landlords to enclose photos - it's certainly to their advantage"
Registering your property for 2009
Landlords who wish to register properties available for 2009 can complete the application form and send it to Housing Services. Further information is available upon request.
SCALE OF CHARGES FOR 2nd Nov 2009 - 31st Oct 2010
In order for your property to be displayed on the website by the 2nd November 2009, we would require your application form to be returned by 23rd October 2009 at the latest.
To advertise for 3 months
£50 per property of 1 – 9 bedrooms for 3 months
To advertise for 12 months until 1st Nov 2010 (12months for the price of 9)*
* Due to the above registration period this option is not
available after 31st December 2009.
£150 per property of 1 – 9 bedrooms
For properties of 10 or more bedrooms please call (0121) 414 8000 for a quote.
Resident Landlords to advertise for 3 months
£30 per room for 3 months.
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THE ADDITITION OF PHOTOGRAPHS.
A MAXIMUM OF 3 PHOTOGRAPHS MAY BE ADDED.

birminghamstudentpad@contacts.bham.ac.uk
Before your advert will be displayed upon the website, please forward an original Gas Safe Register certificate, Niceic, Eca or Napit Electrical Period or Installation report, EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) along with confirmation of your Tenancy Deposit Scheme and HMO (House of Multiple Occupancy) Licence if applicable.
